Ergo Course and Leaflets
OPS is delivering a new 1 day course on practical workplace ergonomics on 14th November. This course will provide an understanding of the basic principles of ergonomics and a knowledge of selected risk assessment tools for the identification of risk factors in the workplace.
We will launch two new leaflets at the course on:
- Upper limb disorders – risk factors and prevention
- Manual handling guidelines and workstation design guidelines.
These two new leaflets will complement our existing suite of ‘tips’ leaflets on office ergonomics, safer manual handling, good back care, safer people handling, hoist use, manual handling risk assessment and people handling risk assessment.
