Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) is a state agency established by the Quality Assurance and Qualifications (Education and Training) Act 2012. This agency incorporates the awarding bodies, FETAC and HETAC .

QQI LogoAwards formerly made by FETAC and HETAC will continue to be recognised by QQI as they are on the National Framework of Qualifications. www.nfq.ie

The brand logos used by the former awarding bodies e.g. FETAC are being withdrawn at the end of 2014. Awards made in 2015 will have the QQI Brand Logo.

OPS will continue to provide Level 6 awards in manual handling instruction and in people handling instruction under the QQI award brand.
