hospitalbedPeople Handling Instructor Course

Leads to a FETAC/QQI Level 6 Special Purpose Certificate in People Handling Instruction (6S0243).

The course aims to provide the participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and deliver effective training courses in manual and people handling in the healthcare environment. It is a nine-day course delivered over seven weeks. Read more >

Dates:

  • Course 1:  February 12th, 13th, 14th, 26th, 27th, 28th. March 12th, 13th. Course assessment on March 26th.
  • Course 2: April 30th. May 1st, 2nd, 14th, 15th, 16th, 28th, 29th. Course Assessment on June 12th.
  • Course 3: October 8th, 9th 10th, 22nd23rd, 24th. November 5th 6th. Course Assessment on November 19th.

Location: The Education Centre, Peamount HealthCare, Newcastle, Co Dublin.

Manual Handling Instructor Course

Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Assessor Course

The aim of the DSE/VDU Workstation Assessor Course is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out standard DSE/VDU assessments in the workplace. Read more >
