HSE issues guidance on the provision of Manual and Patient Handling Training in the COVID-19 emergency
Manual Handling and People Handling training is a statutory requirement. The Health and Safety Authority has confirmed that there are no exemptions or relaxation of the statutory requirements under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 or associated regulations with respect to this training in the COVID-19 emergency.
